Leave every valley as untouched as you found it — we hold every guest to that standard.

Stays that stay with you

Go quiet in the mountains.

A small, personally-verified collection of remarkable cabins and homestays in the Himalayas — where the noise of the city gives way to the stillness of a high meadow. We're building it now; come in early.

Why Thach

The internet made every mountain stay look the same. We're building the one you can actually believe.

Thach (थाच) is the Himachali word for a high alpine meadow — the still, open ground you climb toward once the traffic, the signal and the city's hum drop away below you. That climb, from the hustle to the stillness, is the whole idea. We visit every property in person, photograph the exact room you'd sleep in, and write down the things a filtered photo will never tell you. Fewer listings. Far less doubt. A stay as honestly described as it is beautifully shot.

How we verify

The science of going quiet

Nature isn't a backdrop. It's the point.

3 days
is roughly how long it takes for the city to go quiet in your head. So we build for slow stays, not quick nights.
2,240m
average altitude of our launch perches — high enough for silence, low enough to reach by road.
Few
not thousands. A collection small enough to read end to end and trust every word.
