Miyar runs some seventy-five kilometres toward the Kang La glacier — grassland, granite walls and a scatter of villages, still nowhere near a mass destination despite the Atal Tunnel making it easier to reach. Urgos and Shukto are the last villages before the road ends. We want a stay there paired with guided exploration, not just a bed at the end of a long drive.

We’ve researched the access, the setting, and what’s already there — but no Thach curator has visited in person. We only verify and list a stay once someone has walked the road, checked it against our standard, and put their name to it. That visit hasn’t happened here yet.
