Pangi sits behind mountain ranges high enough to have kept it quiet for centuries. Hudan, Sural and Saichu are the side valleys within it that go further still — Buddhist Bhatori villages, glacial lakes, and terrain shared with ibex, musk deer and snow leopard. We want two or three real village stays here, each capped on guests per month, each with a guide and an emergency plan in place — not a lodge built for the view.

Over Sach Pass from Chamba, or the long way via Kishtwar; local buses run from Killar to Hudan and Sural a few times a day.

A family homestay in Sural Bhatori and a forest-department rest house in Hudan — neither inspected by us yet.

Why Inner Pangi — Hudan, Sural & Saichu isn’t bookable yet
We’ve researched the access, the setting, and what’s already there — but no Thach curator has visited in person. We only verify and list a stay once someone has walked the road, checked it against our standard, and put their name to it. That visit hasn’t happened here yet.
